Flesh and Blood, a trading card game, is gearing up for an eventful start to 2024 with expansion set releases and international events. Publisher Legend Story Studios has announced that the new year will kick off with a Celebrational event in Queenstown, Aotearoa on January 19th. This invite-only event will feature various Flesh and Blood formats, including the recently released Round the Table. The Celebrational will be followed by a public Gathering event from January 19th to 21st, where all players can participate in matches. During this event, Legend Story Studios will unveil details about its upcoming expansion set, Heavy Hitters.

Heavy Hitters will be the first set released for Flesh and Blood in 2024, coinciding with the game’s 5th anniversary. The set will be available for retail purchase on February 2nd, but attendees of the Queenstown Calling event will have the opportunity to get their hands on booster packs before others. The event will also feature organized play competitions with a $20,000 prize pool for winners and a $3,000 prize share for the Team Sealed Battle Hardened event.

Following the Queenstown event, Flesh and Blood’s competitive scene will move to Los Angeles, California on March 21st for the first stop on the 2024 Organized Play Circuit. This pro tour event will invite over 1,000 players to compete in various rounds of different competitive matches, with a $200,000 prize pool up for grabs. The winner will be crowned the Pro Tour Champion.

Despite not being as well-known as other trading card games like Magic: The Gathering, Flesh and Blood is making its mark with a packed schedule of events and expansion releases in 2024.
