Fallout: Factions, a new wargame from Modiphius, will launch in April with rules and miniatures for three raider gangs battling for control of Nuka World. Lead designer James Hewitt explains that famous factions like the Brotherhood of Steel will eventually get rules. Launching with raiders is to ease new players in and provide a central game experience. The raider gangs have distinct identities and unique abilities called Ploys. These Ploys are similar to Warhammer 40k Stratagems and provide tactical advantages during gameplay. Players can download quickstart rules from the Modiphius site and find Fallout terrain for 3D printing. The game offers a unique experience for Fallout fans, with the potential for more factions to be added in the future. Additionally, Fallout fans have more to look forward to with news of a Fallout Netflix series and new Fallout-themed MTG commander precon decks on the horizon.
