Disney Lorcana has announced the upcoming release of the fourth set of their popular trading card game, Ursula’s Return. The expansion will feature a darker tone compared to previous sets, with the sea witch seeking vengeance on the heroes and their glimmers. The set will include characters from the musical film Encanto, such as Mirabel, Julieta, Félix, Luisa, Dolores, and Bruno. Additionally, a new cooperative game called Illumineer’s Quest, with the first installment titled “Deep Trouble”, will be introduced. Players can expect a series of PvE-style releases in future sets. The game can be played alone or with up to four players using preconstructed decks and various difficulty levels.
Furthermore, Disney Lorcana has announced the Disney Lorcana Challenge circuit, with events taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, Lille, France, and Chicago. Winners will receive extended art promo cards and serialized, extended art versions of Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor. Ursula’s Return will be available in local game stores and Disney parks on May 17th, followed by retail and online outlets on May 31st. The set can be collected through booster packs, Illumineer’s Trove, and preconstructed starter decks. Illumineer’s Quest: Deep Trouble will be released alongside the fourth TCG set at a price of $59.99/£54.99.
