The Pokémon Company International has launched the Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, now available at retailers worldwide and online. This expansion brings back Shiny Pokémon, featuring over 130 Shiny Pokémon from the Paldea region, including popular characters like Shiny Pikachu and Shiny Ceruledge. It also introduces Shiny Tera Pokémon ex, including Charizard ex and Forretress ex, as well as Ancient and Future Pokémon ex.
The expansion also introduces full-art styles for select Shiny Pokémon and hyper rare cards with a raised foil effect, enhancing the visual appeal and rarity of the cards. In addition to the physical card game, Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates is available digitally through the Pokémon TCG Live app, offering an interactive way to collect and battle with Shiny Pokémon. The app also includes new features like the Scarlet & Violet—Paldean Fates Battle Pass, which rewards players with new decks.
