The Pokémon Company International has announced the upcoming release of the Scarlet & Violet—Twilight Masquerade expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) on May 24, 2024. This expansion features cards based on Pokémon from The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask DLC from the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, including Ogerpon and its various forms. The expansion introduces four Tera Pokémon ex cards representing Ogerpon’s different masks and types, as well as a new Item card, Ogre’s Mask, adding strategic depth to gameplay.
In addition to Ogerpon cards, the expansion includes ACE SPEC rare Trainer and Special Energy cards, Pokémon ex and Tera Pokémon ex cards, illustration rare Pokémon cards, special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards, and hyper rare gold etched cards. The expansion will be available in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, and special collections, with preorders already open for select products at Pokémon Center in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
Players can experience the expansion early at Prerelease tournaments starting on May 11, and digitally through the Pokémon TCG Live app on May 23, 2024, offering new cards, battles, and in-game bonuses.
