PAX Unplugged, the annual tabletop gaming convention organized by Dicebreaker owner ReedPop, is set to take place in Philadelphia from December 1st to 3rd. The convention will feature a keynote speech from Matthew Mercer, the actor and Dungeon Master known for his work on Critical Role. Mercer has also been involved in the development of the popular video game Baldur’s Gate 3.
Over 300 exhibitors will be present at the event, including Ravensburger, the publisher of Disney Lorcana, R. Talsorian, the creators of Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk Red, and Games Workshop, the company behind the Warhammer franchise. Other notable companies in attendance will include Cephalofair, Chaosium, Czech Games Edition, Free League, Magpie Games, and Leder Games.
In addition to the exhibitors, PAX Unplugged 2023 will also host the second Tabletop Awards, presented by Misty Mountain Gaming. Nominations and public voting for the People’s Choice award are currently open.
The convention will provide attendees with the opportunity to participate in various panels and on-stage appearances, allowing them to engage with industry professionals and learn more about the latest developments in the tabletop gaming world.
