Additionally, a few cards that were previously categorized as Cats will no longer have that type, which will not have a significant impact on gameplay. The Naga creature type will be replaced by Snake, which will provide a boost for decks that focus on Snake synergies. This change may have a larger impact than initially anticipated, as there are several notable Naga cards in existence. Furthermore, the keyword “totem armor” will now be referred to as “Umbra Armor,” a change that aligns with existing card names and is expected to feel more natural to players. Wizards of the Coast is continuously monitoring the game and making necessary modifications to ensure a harmonious gameplay experience. These updates will be implemented as part of the Oracle Text updates in The Lost Caverns of Ixalan, with the changes taking effect on Magic Online on November 8.
