The set includes Special Guest cards and Cosmium neon ink variants of cards like Cavern of Souls, as well as Universes Beyond cards from the MTG Jurassic World crossover. However, there have been complaints about the frequency of new, mechanically unique cards compared to basic Lands and Command Tower. Jurassic World cards can be found in set boosters and collector boosters, with different frequencies. In set booster packs, Jurassic World cards appear in roughly one out of every 12 packs, while every collector booster features at least one Jurassic World card. Lost Caverns of Ixalan bundles include a non-foil Jurassic World card guaranteed, with foil copies guaranteed in gift bundles. However, there have been issues with the distribution of Jurassic World cards, with some players receiving a high number of basic Lands instead of new cards. Despite the odds being made available, many players were still frustrated upon opening their products.
