Ravensburger, the publisher of Disney Lorcana, has announced the details for the second set of Disney’s Trading Card Game, called Rise of the Floodborn. The set will be released on November 17th in independent game stores and dedicated gaming web stores, and on December 1st in national retail chains in select territories worldwide. The Rise of the Floodborn set will include two starter decks with different Ink types, booster packs, sleeves, play mats, and an Illumineer’s Trove bundle. Additionally, a Disney Lorcana: Disney 100 Collector’s Edition set will be available, featuring six cards with alternate artwork drawn by Disney animators. The set will also contain four Rise of the Floodborn Booster Packs.

The pricing for each of the Rise of the Floodborn products has been revealed, ranging from $5.99 for booster packs to $49.99 for the Disney Lorcana: Disney 100 Edition. The set will introduce new characters such as Winnie the Pooh and Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. Ravensburger has also confirmed a new keyword, Resist, which will allow characters to resist a certain number of damage points per challenge.

The Rise of the Floodborn set will explore the origins of the Floodborn glimmers, which are characters in the game created by players using ink. The set will delve into how the mixing of Disney Lorcana’s ink types leads to the transformation of Floodborn characters.
