The 2023 Panini Absolute Football product is set to be released on December 13, 2023. This football card set is known for its focus on hits, with each Hobby box containing two autographs and three relics. The set features a 242-card base set, including 100 base cards for current players, 100 base rookies, and 42 Rookie Premiere Materials Autographs cards. The Rookie Premiere cards come in three-relic, four-relic, and five-relic versions, as well as single-swatch jumbos, with Prime and Super Prime editions available.
The set also includes several case-hit inserts, such as Explosive, Glass, and Kaboom! Each Hobby box contains one insert card. In addition to the autographs and relics, there are other hits to uncover in the set. The Iconic Ink subset features autographs from all-time greats, while the Jumbo line relies on oversized swatches for memorabilia cards. The Tools of the Trade brand staple makes a return with multi-relic cards, and the Ground Hoggs subset is geared towards running backs. The Pro Bowl Souvenirs relic insert is also making a comeback after not being seen since 2003.
