The Pokémon Company, in collaboration with Creatures Inc. and design firm nendo, has unveiled the highly anticipated “Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic.” This deluxe edition, set to be released on November 17, 2023, combines nostalgic designs with modern elements to provide an enhanced gameplay experience for Pokémon Trading Card Game enthusiasts. The set includes reimagined versions of iconic cards such as Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, as well as new cards featuring Lugia ex, Ho-Oh ex, Suicune ex, and more. The collection also offers premium gameplay accessories, including a plush game board, toolbox, counters, and deck boxes. It is important to note that the cards in this set are not eligible for tournament play. The Pokémon TCG Classic can be preordered for $399.99, and separate products featuring the unique cards will be available in February 2024.
