Wizards of the Coast recently launched a new format on MTG Arena called Timeless in December 2023. This format has no ban list and allows access to the strongest cards and decks on Arena. It has both ranked and unranked queues, making it a permanent new format. However, since it is still very fresh, the meta is constantly evolving and there is limited information available. Despite this, certain decks such as Red Deck Wins, Storm, 4 Color Omnath, Jund, Grixis Death’s Shadow, and Sneak Attack have emerged as popular and powerful choices. Red Deck Wins is known for its efficiency and speed, while Storm focuses on cards like Necropotence, Bolas’s Citadel, and Tendrils of Agony. 4 Color Omnath uses powerful spells and Omnath, Locus of Creation, while Jund is a powerful archetype with a strong sideboard. Grixis Death’s Shadow is an aggressive and fast-paced deck, and Sneak Attack allows players to summon any creature with haste for a single turn. These decks are currently some of the best options for the Timeless format on MTG Arena.
