Ravensburger has decided to cancel the online sale of Disney Lorcana Rise of the Floodborn in the UK and Europe due to expected DDoS attacks on their website. The sales were scheduled to begin on December 1, but were canceled on November 30. The company cited the need to protect their online store from external attacks as the reason for the cancellation. However, there is good news as a reprint of both Rise of the Floodborn and The First Chapter is expected to be available in Europe in mid-December. This comes after the game’s brand manager promised increased production levels. The cancellation was prompted by DDoS attacks during presales on November 20, which caused significant delays and prevented many fans from making purchases. The attacks were described as the most aggressive seen by the company running the online queue system. Amazon has announced that it will use a queue system for the Rise of the Floodborn sales on December 1. Fans are encouraged to stay updated on the release date and consider other Disney board games and card games for adults.
